Is it bad having a gourmet pizza or taco man at my wedding

India, on May 27, 2019 at 1:05 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 12
I’m having a 200 max wedding and I’m also a college student too. Is it bad to hire a someone to do gourmet “made to order” pizza for the reception to be cost effectiveness. Or is a taco man considering 75 percent of my family and fiancés family is Mexican?

Tacos are always a win! It is not bad at all. If it's in your budget and you can accommodate your guests with the truck than go for it. But for 200 people might be a long line to wait. Maybe try to make two lines or something like that. I remember Jamie Wolfe on YouTube talking about something like this.

Maybe you could do a taco bar/buffet or pizza bar/buffet since you're having so many people. I agree with a previous poster that if you have the food made to order, I would imagine the wait time could be long depending on the set up. Either way it sounds fun! Smiley smile

Tacos!!! We love tacos and same my FH family is Mexican and when I told them that I hired a taco cart they were so excited as well as my family! I was dead set on this before probably anything else I planned! We are doing the taco cart for the main food, and will have buffet style finger foods for people to snack on and then for everyone who stays late like 11/12 we will be ordering late night pizza!

We are doing “swanky tacos” for our reception because we absolutely love tacos!! I wouldn’t say they are more cost effective than anything else. But they are fun and delicious, and honestly, who doesn’t love tacos?!

I don't think so. As long as the food is good & the lines aren't long!
