Is it insulting to hire different hair and make up artists for bridesmaids?

I have already decided on my 4 bridesmaids, MoG, MoB, and myself are getting ready at the venue. We have a bridal suite for 3 hours before the start time. This provides 2.5 hours for hair and make up. Most vendors are asking for 4 hours if they are to do the whole group. Is it insulting (to the professionals) or tacky in any other way to hire 2 sets of hair and make up? One will be for me and the mother's, the other will do all the bridesmaids. This is purely a time thing as cost will be the same either way. Any other tips for getting ready at the venue while having professional hair and make up?

You should check the contract because many vendors have an exclusivity clause (AKA it would be a violation to hire a second company for the same event).

Also check with vendors to see if they have more than one artist (like if you hire a salon sometimes they can send 2-3 hair stylists/makeup artists) to fit your window.
