Is it ok to have a stag and jack and jill?

Keri, on November 13, 2018 at 3:05 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 5
Hello everyone! I was talking to my MOH yesterday and she was asking me about what I wanted to do for my bridal shower. To be honest the last thing I was to do is be surrounded by women I'm not really friends with.... I know my FH really wants to have a stag. So my question is, is it ok to have a jack and jill and a stag. Or do I just have to suck it up and suffer through a shower (or just forgo one)? Thanks for your help!

Can you clarify what you mean by stag? I am not familiar with the term in the way you are using it

What do you mean by stag party? Or jack and jill party? It sounds like you guys should just have 1 couples shower.

Not familiar with 'stag' but a jack and jill is FUN

We are doing a bridal shower, jack and jill & Stock the bar so that all of our friends and family can be involved in whichever suits them best!

Isn't a stag party a bachelor party? That's different from a jack and jill shower. If I'm understanding the terms correctly then you can definitely have both a shower and then bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Are you talking about a couples shower or a jack and Jill that you are making people pay to come to a party to help fund your wedding? Because a couples shower is okay, and having people “donate” to you and your FS for your wedding is not.
