Is it ok to have more bridesmaids than groomsmen?

Absolutely. Uneven sides are more common now and look more natural since it is unlikely you have the exact same number of friends or close family members. I had 3 bridesmaids and he had one groomsman. It was no big deal.

My FH will actually be having 1 more groomsman than I have bridesmaids. We decided that his Best Man will just stand up at the alter with him while all the groomsmen/bridesmaids walk down the processional.

Yea totally! I don't think it ever needs to be the same amount
