Is it okay to register for more than 1 dinnerware place sitting?. I have 3 different settings .

I don't think there's anything wrong with it, as long as you're okay with being gifted 3 different sets.

As long as you'll use them, I think it's fine. We have two sets. A nice one & an everyday one. Each set has 12 plates (and bowls, salad plates, etc.). I wouldn't want more than that for us.

I wouldn’t register for anything unless you want it. If you register for 3 place settings, anticipate that you might get all 3. If you wouldn’t want all 3, don’t register for them.

I agree. I would say personally 2 is all that is needed - formal and daily use.
