Is it rude to register for a post elopement bbq?

Katey, on December 29, 2019 at 10:14 PM Posted in Registry 0 5
My fiancé and I are planning on getting married at a court house, just the two of us, and then throwing a very informal backyard barbecue at my parent’s house a few months later. Is it ok to register, or should we leave it up to our guests if they want to get us anything?

I would not do a registry but if people choose to give you gifts then I would let them but I would not ask. Smiley smile

It’s fine to do a registry as long as you don’t put it on the invitations.

I would go ahead. If someone asks, you have a place to send them. If no one asks, you'll still qualify for completion discounts!

I would definitely leave it up to guests if they want to gift anything. Most likely you will get money, but i personally wouldn't have a registry.

    I'd do a registry.
