Is it too early to ask my bridesmaids and mohs?

Both my fiancé and myself have asked our guys and girls to be in our wedding and we don't have our date set but we're 98% sure. We also don't have anything booked because we both work so much in the day that we don't care to figure it out when we're exhausted. I'm not going traditional in any way with my wedding and just excited to share this milestone with friends and family. Whatever you're comfortable with.

I don’t think it’s too early. I’m getting married October 2023 and have almost everything booked and got my wedding dress ordered last week. I was told by the bridal associate because of supply chain issues and delays she wouldn’t even sell a custom gown right now less than a year out. Granted that’s for a bridal gown but something to be considered if you have any bridesmaids that aren’t going to be strictly off the rack sizes.
Plus it helps them plan their work/ childcare schedules.

I am also getting married in October of 2023. I have asked all but one of my girls and I am doing that this weekend. I want to give them enough to save and be ready. Not that I am “that” bride but I don’t like being a financial burden on anyone

I am also getting married October 2023 and I have already asked everyone to be a part of it! I know the people I asked will be there and nothing will change with us so if that’s how you feel go for it. It is your wedding after all. Congrats ❤️

Hey, I am also getting married October 2023. We are having our engagement party on the 30th of this month and I am handing out my bridesmaid proposals boxes there so no I don’t think it’s too soon.
Plus, these are friends that I have had for years so I don’t think our friendship would be ending.

We just got engaged, don’t have a venue yet but are hoping for October of 2023. i already have everyone picked out and I am waiting on everything to come in the mail to ask them! 🤣

Not too early gives you lots of time to prepare and like you said, everyone to get to know each other!

I'm getting married October of 2023 as well, and I asked my bridal party last month! Nobody thought it was odd, and I'm glad to have it finished!

I had my venue booked before i even had the ring, and asked my girls one week after the proposal 🤣 do what works for you

I’m getting married in December of 2023 and I’m starting to ask my bridesmaids. I want them to have enough time to save $$ and also enough of a heads up for those that have to take time off work! So I don’t think it’s too early at all!!

I say, once you know who and what you want, ask away. My fiance already asked her ppl and our wedding is Oct 14th (tentatively). Like you said, everyone is busy. It's easier to request off work or plan ahead now then later.

Definitely not too early. I got engaged Jan 12th and I asked my girls in February and I’m getting married October 21, 2023. The more time the better for planning financially

I'm getting married October 2023 & we just gave the groomsmen all their boxes and im part way through giving my bridesmaids their boxes. I wanted to make sure they could get days off as well as had time to save and look into places to stay as my venue is 2-2.5 hours away from them

I got engaged in March and asked most by the end of April. Getting married on October 28, 2023.

My MOH's I asked the day after I got engaged, but I was so certain I was going to ask them and I couldn't hold it in. My other bridesmaids I took a little more time to think. It was hard for me since society portrays BMs as people you've known since you were a child, but my best friends I met in college and 2 I only met a year ago.

I would say as long as you have taken the time to think and you love the women/men you want to ask then do it! I also asked them without the boxes so they wouldn't feel pressured and they were surprised. I followed up by giving them boxes at my engagement party which was at the end of May.

I have 3 in-state BMs (one is our officiant technically) and 4 out-of-state BMs including both my MOHs so it was easier to just ask without boxes and over video chat.

I haven’t asked yet just because I want to get everyone personalized gifts in and sorted. I am going to wait for towards New Years to ask my bridesmaid just because that gets the holidays out of the way and gives them time to not stress or anything. Worry about family and holidays then begin wedding festivities. 🖤
