Curious so have you guys already started planning and looking and get anything started for your wedding if you’re having it in 2023?

We have our venue picked which provides catering and linens so we are part way there. We have decided on other things as well just haven’t paid for them just yet.

I have started planning my May 2023 wedding just because of how much I heard weddings were getting booked in advance that were pushed back because of COVID. I can tell it is a bit early but I got the venue and photographer I wanted with no issues rather than running into booked dates. It seems like those are the two main things that are good to do this far in advance, and the rest seems to be able to wait.

We’re planning for January 2023 and getting the venue with catering included settled this weekend/early next week. I put my fiancé on the search for photographer and videographer and already think I’ll need to harangue him on that one…

For what it’s worth, I know of a 2022 bride and groom who are currently postponing their Fall/October wedding because of life events out of their control. So they might be getting married next year! Don’t fret!

I think it’s perfect to start planning now. I’m looking into June 2023 and a lot of people are already booking venue’s ,djs and etc. the earlier u start the better the selection you have.

Never too early to get started, the sooner the better actually. I got engaged in January of 2020 and chose our date of Sept. this year. We booked our hall 2/2/20, dj in march of 2020, and photographer in june of 2020. We are ahead and are able to make payments to vendors instead of large amounts spaced very little apart. Hope this helps 😊

Absolutely! We got engaged June 2021 and are getting married August 5,2023 and we have our reception venue and photographer both booked. And we already know the ceremony site and DJ we want. It’s always best to plan ASAP that way you aren’t stressing too much by the time 2023 does come around

October 2023 date and I have a venue and wedding planner booked so far. I just booked an engagement photoshoot with the photographer who I hope does the wedding, but he said he usually only books about a year in advance and he is still working on his 2023 pricing. Hopefully he doesn't blow my budget haha.

    Congrats to all!
