Is it too long to be waiting?

I recently got engaged 2 months ago and we decided to get married in 2022. What are your opinions on waiting 3 years for marriage?

I don't think there is anything wrong with a long engagement. We will just be shy a three year engagement ourselves. Covid played no part on the length of it as we had been planning sense September of 2019 that it would be somewhere between 2022 and 2023.

Everyone has different reasons and preferences for how long or short their engagement is. Ours was going to be a 2 year long engagement but it turned into 3. There's not really any right or wrong.

I think it’s up to you guys! We have been together 12 years, got engaged right before 10th anniversary. We are about to 32 in June, I’m pushing for a small November wedding just because.

We are very much the same. We will have been together for 8 years and engaged for almost 4 by the time we tie the knot next year.
