Is it too soon to ask the wedding party?

Truthfully, I would wait! You never know what will happen in the time being. I only say because my Fiances supposed to be best man after years and years of friendship are no longer on any good terms. No one saw it coming. I would wait just in case!

My wedding is March 2025, and I have already asked mine! That being said, a lot of my bridesmaids have kids.. so I wanted to make sure they had plenty of time to gather any funds that might be required as well as make arrangements for any event their children cannot attend! (Bach trip, showers, etc) I know being a bridesmaid comes with cost, so I wanted them to have plenty of time for anything that might come up.

I would wait, but just a little bit (that 6-8 months ahead is too short notice IMO).

I'm also getting married October 2025 and am dying to ask my 3 bridesmaids but it's too soon. There's nothing for them to do this early. There's barely anything for ME to do this early. Instead, because I am CERTAIN of who I'm asking, I'm prepping and planning their proposal boxes by finding a few matching things but also looking for individual things. Since I don't have to rush, I can take my time and really make them specific and special for each person when I ask them later this year (probably around May).
