Okay so I’m a terrible over thinker, I’m also not very traditional but i just absolutely do not want to walk down the aisle to the traditional wedding march.... i have a couple songs in mind i think I’d like and even though about how sweet it would be to let my fiancé pick a song for me to walk down...

I'm not using any of those played out songs I just can't bear to hear another here comes the bride or the post ceremony one they are so played out! Centuries. My fiance and I have picked our music and my son and daughter will sing an acoustic in the middle of the ceremony! Good luck everyone!

I think it's more common now to choose whatever song you like. I personally didn't want to use either "Here Comes the Bride" or "Pachabels Canon," but wanted an instrumental song still. We're having a bluegrass band for our whole wedding, abbr based on their song repertoire, I learned of a beautiful option called Margaret's Waltz. I just love it! (See video brow, but please ignore the little jig intro)

I walked down to, can't help falling in love with you, by Elvis. I don't remember ever being at a wedding where the bride walked down to, here comes the bride.

Our choice was non traditional, too. We walked down the aisle together to GoT theme song played by an acoustic guitarist.

I'm not walking down to here comes the bride. It's normal these days to step out of the traditional stuff.

Im not. i definitely didnt want this either! there's plenty of new age songs and other classical music that works beautifully for this.

i had a friend recently get married and she walked down to A Thousand Years by Christina Perri. I plan on walking down to La Vie En Rose by Piaf because we hired a string quartet!

I haven’t picked a song yet, but having my FH pick a song would be a bad idea. I’d end up walking down to Batman on drugs or something.

I refuse to walk down the aisle to anything traditional. We are debating many other options, because we both don’t want a cut and dry wedding. I’ve seen a lot of people make it more personal.

I have seen it both ways but I love the idea of making a wedding as personal as possible. I haven't the slightest clue what I'll walk down to or dance to, but I certainly think it's great to chose your own song!!

Don’t blame you. It’s more personal to choose a song that is meaningful to you. I have settle on a song yet but know it will be a song that we both love. Good luck.
