Is it weird to have a dj at a small 30 guest reception?

We are having it at maggianos in a party room and maybe 30 max guests. I can't imagine no music even if we can't dance in august. But FH says it seems weird to have DJ with such little amount of people. what do you think?

You're welcome, Kelsey! Having a large venue can still be intimate with good space planning. Oh wow, then I think your guests will also appreciate the music. Talk to your DJ about having music your guests will appreciate. It can help during the first dance for the DJ to ask guests to join the couple before the song ends to help get guests on the dance floor. Another slower or older dance song might help keep them there. And certainly if you & your hubby mingle with guests on the dance floor--at least initially.
