Is Royal Blue the same as Horizon( the color they have at David's Bridal)?

Royal is very bright and dark, horizon is dusky-er and lighter by far

The customer service rep said it was ugggh

My color is horizon and my chair sash color is called royal blue. I got the royal blue sash because after comparing the swatches, they matched perfectly. Not every place with have the same color "royal blue" and I think that's why David's bridal has their own names for their colors. You just have to compare the colors with what you want to buy. Another reception item I got, I had to get a color other than the royal blue because it didn't match the horizon.

They are very close I brought my royal blue table runner and it matched perfectly with the horizon blue.

What DB calls royal blue is not going to match up with what Place A calls royal blue, which won't match what Place B calls royal blue, and so on. Color names mean exactly nothing.

Go get swatches from DB (they're like a dollar each) and compare colors from those and ignore what the colors are called.

No it's not. I'm actually using the Horizon from DB and Cobalt from other places. DBs royal blue is way dark compared to a lot of other places. I don't know why every just can't use the same colors. I bought the swatches for like $5 a piece.

It's more of a cobalt blue.

My colors are horizon but most of my stuff are royal blue. I think they are the same color I have my horizon swatch and I have been comparing it to the royal blue I have been looking at and they match perfectly..

I'm wanting colbalt blue bridesmaid dresses and flowers. But am having trouble finding them. Any ideas?
