Is there a such thing as a Flower Boy?

None of my family members or close friends have daughters who I can ask to be my flower girl. Everyone has sons, so I've been toying with the idea of having a Flower Boy instead of a Flower Girl. My FSIL's 3yo son expressed interest when he overheard us talking to his parents about this, so I technically have him in my back pocket, but will people think that it's weird? Has anyone done this before? If so, how did it go?

There is no reason why he couldnt be. I just watched girl meets world and ougi and his gf ava were flower kids for mayas mom kates wedding to shawn!

Awe, that would be totally fine as long as he and the parents are ok with it! I mean, its just about as weird as getting something other than a diamond for an engagement ring. Its just nontraditional, but that doesnt make it wrong or weird. In fact, things that go against tradition are usually different/better

My friend is doing this in her upcoming wedding. Her nephew said he would rather throw petals. She’ll have a flower girl as well.
