Me and my husband got married july 2020. It was the best day ever. I attached a photo ! I didn’t get a chance though to wear my original ball gown and he didn’t get to wear his original suit. We are not doing a celebration we really do feel like we had the best day and best zoom wedding but I was thinking for our 1 year anniversary of doing a photo shoot in my big dress his suit on the beach. Is that silly 🙃 to do a whole photo shoot lol 😂 should I just let it go ? Is this a silly idea ? Photoshoot 1

    I don't think it's silly. it's actually a pretty smart idea - gives you a reason to wear it and why not take more photos?

    You paid all that money for the dress. Go do a nice photo shoot in it. It will be really nice. The singer Selena quintanilla eloped with her husband and then later did a photo shoot done of her in her wedding dress.

    I say go for it. I wore my big dress to my minimony, but I didn't have my big wedding in New Orleans like I originally planned. One picture I really wanted was of me and my husband in our wedding attire with a second line in the French Quarter. We're thinking of having a photo shoot in New Orleans on our wedding anniversary so I can get my picture!!

    Do the photoshoot and wear the dress!! Get your hair and makeup done, you could even do a “first look” with your original dress (if you can drive separately) & set it up with the photographer in advance. Super cute idea to use your dress! You picked it for a reason ☺️

    Do what makes you happy. I don't see an issue with you doing a photoshoot with the clothes you didn't get a chance to wear.
