Is this tacky?

I always thought (yeah, tacky, I know) that if people invite me for their weddings, they actually want me to be there. I always thought (yeah, tacky, I know) that if people invite me for their weddings, they actually want me to be there. But now I understand people do not expect all of their guests to show up, which is also tacky.

We currently have 2 tacky invitations for 2 weddings this summer. I’m wondering if we are among those tacky guests who should decline but to the couple’s tacky surprise, we accept? Before you say anything negative, I understand it’s tacky we haven’t RSVPed before we received the invitations.

Is it tacky if I call the couples and ask them if that really want us to show up? Or should we decline and just send them a tacky gift?

Please help, but don’t comment if you’re going to say something tacky. Thanks!

I tacky can't tacky read any tacky of these tacky posts (tacky). Too much tackiness for my morning.

But to tackily respond to your tacky question...

I believe our parents are using our wedding as a means of a family reunion....no, I don't know much about nor do I care about some people and whether or not they show up. I think it depends on both your relationship with the couple as well as their parents/family and whether you actually want to go.

Me... I never turn down a party haha but I don't think you need to do anything but RSVP when the time comes to send back that card (so they don't have to call you looking for an answer... like so many of our poor brides have to do). That would be tacky.

Thank you MissB, I truly appreciate your constructive feedback.

Because I really think lol-ing at my dilemma is tacky. It hurts my feeling, the tacky one.

I refuse to answer such a tacky question.

Although I do think PurpleSun's suggestions would be quite fun. And totally tacky.

It's also tacky that you have feelings. And how tacky does the word tacky start to sound after reading it 7 billion times? TACKY.

You should also bring 5 guests with you. I'm sure the tacky wedding didn't invite your tacky husband, so instead Forget plus ones, bring about 5

RSVP no, and then show up with a crew of 20 and a gift of tacks, tacky paper, tacky stick. Must all be tacky gifts of course.
