Is this tacky?

I always thought (yeah, tacky, I know) that if people invite me for their weddings, they actually want me to be there. I always thought (yeah, tacky, I know) that if people invite me for their weddings, they actually want me to be there. But now I understand people do not expect all of their guests to show up, which is also tacky.

We currently have 2 tacky invitations for 2 weddings this summer. I’m wondering if we are among those tacky guests who should decline but to the couple’s tacky surprise, we accept? Before you say anything negative, I understand it’s tacky we haven’t RSVPed before we received the invitations.

Is it tacky if I call the couples and ask them if that really want us to show up? Or should we decline and just send them a tacky gift?

Please help, but don’t comment if you’re going to say something tacky. Thanks!

Send a "No" and no gift. Or....send a Yes and go and enjoy the bar...unless it's a cash bar. Maybe you should ask...because that wouldn't be tacky at all.

Well between this and MissB's balls thread, I keep laughing at my desk. And my co-workers probably think I'm super tacky.

@Laura Nicole, please, asked nicely not to comment in a tacky way.

@RayRay, I think it's incredibly tacky to call us all drunk.

All of this tackiness it too much for my tacky mind to take this morning! (wait, did I just call my mind tacky?)

Anywho, I second @PurpleSun's idea. But to up the tacky, I would rock some tacky colored Chuck Taylors with your tacky white sequin dress! Now those combined...TACKY to the extreme! :-)

Isn't it kind of tacky to be drunk so early in the day?

To cut the cake while wasted. Grab a knife, wave it around, and then stick it in from the top down. Don't worry if there are spacers between the layers, you have to cut those too! Go ahead and stick your finger in it to make sure it is moist and tastey

Don't forget to grab the biggest and best centerpiece off of the table (it doesn't have to be your table - FYI) on your way out!

Oh one more thing! You may want to wear something.... appealing... underneath your white sequined dress. Who knows, you may have the opportunity to bare all for the groom and give him a personal dance! Maybe give a lapdance to his grandpa too, just for good measure.

But I shouldn't return their call, at least for a week, right?

I like the dress suggestions, but I would love some bling. Does anyone have anything?

I'm going to practice cutting the cake so that I don't look tacky.

LOL you are too funny... but answer this.

Do two tackys make it not tacky?

kindda like two wrongs make a right but two rights don't make a wrong. BUT three rights make a left...

And ALWAYS knock every other girl (cat) out of the way during the bouquet toss. It's supposed to look like a tacky WWE smack down. Hell, you should get the garter too. That's not tacky at all.

Make sure you practice cake cutting with a really nice, high quality plastic butter knife...wouldn't want to be TOO tacky now.
