I originally had 1 matron of honor and 1 maid of honor but my matron of honor is now going thru a divorce. With my wedding still a year out, her divorce will be final by then. Now i don't want to demote my original maid of honor to bridesmaid to make my matron of honor maid of honor. So I want to have two maid of honors but I only wanted these 3 particular people in my bridal party. I liked when everyone had their own title but now it seems weird. I know it's my wedding and I can do what I want but would it be too weird to have 2MOH and 1 bridesmaid? (Remember 3ppl total in bridal party)

You're making too big a deal of "maid" vs "matron". It literally doesn't matter to anybody. They are just different titles based on marital status (which is weird in my opinion), but the honor is still the same. It's fine if they are both "maids".

Our daughter will have too also. Her best friend and her little sister. You can do whatever you would like. Smiley smile

I'm having 2 maids of honor. Both are married. I think matron sounds horrible. So they are my co-maids of honor. The wedding police can come and get me for that one, but i just don't care. Lol.

I have a Man of Honor and a Matron of Honor, and I decided to make my third person a Maid of Honor because I have trouble ranking my friends (I know that's not really what's happening but that's how I felt). I guess I'm just lucky that all 3 have different titles, but I don't think it's wrong to have two maids of honor. And I don't think it's wrong to have 3 if you don't want the one girl to be the odd one out. It's different but it certainly isn't wrong!
