Is wish list a must?

Natalie, on January 23, 2020 at 5:48 AM Posted in Registry 0 7

Do you have wish list for the wedding and if so, did you post it somewhere or is it some shop's one? I have no idea about how to organize it and whether we really should, FH says it is alright if we have no wish list at all but what if we get several same presents? Idk, help, please

Oh you mean a registry. You can go on almost any retailers website and click on start registry. It’s pretty easy to do. I have 2 small ones. One on amazon and another with target. But we set up a cash registry on our theknot.com website bc we have an established household. So whatever cash gifts we receive we will put towards our new house

You really only need a registry (or wish list) if you’re having a bridal shower. That info is shared on the invites, and can be put on your website if you have one.

A registry isn't a necessity unless you're having a shower. If you want physical gifts, it's best to have one. If not, people will default to cash or check gifts.

That is called a registry. You add everything you want and how many of each. People shop from that so you get what you want.
