We got these for our groomsmen from Men's Wearhouse. They were about $15 each.

We gave out bridal party gifts at the rehearsal dinner, and we felt it would be rude to be handing out gifts to the bridesmaids and not to the groomsmen.

FH and I are both giving gifts to our BMs and GMs. He was in his best man's wedding and didn't get a gift, but I told him that's not an excuse. We are probably going to get our WP their Converses, which they'll wear for the wedding.

I wouldn't base my gifts off of what I received or did not receive at other weddings. I would still want to do whatever I could to show my appreciation for my wedding party.

Sandy, we got gifts for EVERYONE who had to go out of their way to be a special part of our day. We set a limit of approximately $15 per person (except for our ushers, we spent $10 on each of them). Here's what we got (numbers refer to the pics in the inspiration board)

Bridesmaids: Necklace, Bracelet, & Earrings that I made (1, 2), as well as a tote that I painted (3)

    Groomsmen: Personalized Shot Glasses (4)

Flower Girls: Sweater (5, 6), and a pearl necklace that I made (7)

Ring Bearers: Piggy banks from Kohls (8) as well as $2 worth of quarters to put in them

    Moms: Hankies (9)

    FOB: Personalized Money Clip (10)

    FOG: Personalized Shot Glass (4)

Ushers: $10 gift card to American Eagle (they were all teenagers)

My FH was asking why he had to give gifts to his attendants- it's just not something that is done around here because the actual weddings are mostly private and performed in a temple so the the GM and BM don't really have the same responsibilities they have in normal weddings. He though it would be a waste of money.

I told him it didn't have to be big, just a small something to say thanks for traveling out to the wedding.

I dont think he is giving them anything. the girls are the ones doing everything for us, making invites with us, helping me shop, putting together decorations etc. I am having just the girls stay in the bridal suite with me the night before the wedding I will give them their gifts then. If he gets the guys anything it will be a smal bottle of their favorite alcoholic beverage.

We will. The groomsmen have to take time off work, drive 6 hours, and pay for their lodging. They will be getting a nice gift.
