Is/Did anyone doing straight hair for your wedding?

I was thinking of asking this once before.. I'm considering it. My hair does not hold curl well at all unless they are super tight crunchy curls, which don't look natural at all. My hair is stick straight naturally. And I really don't want to wear my hair down... So straight would be the best option. But I don't want to look TOO casual. So who knows. I'm interested to see everyone elses opinions/pics

I want my hair down too and straight hair is more "Me" also. At the most I might have it just a little wavy.

The chick who did my trial used the style I wanted but curled my hair. I HATED it. By the end of the day my hair was flat and gross. Plus she used a ton of hairspray which made it look even worse and made it hell to wash. My hair refuses to hold a curl AT ALL. So next time I'm going to tell her to do the same style but ZERO hairspray, and I want it is straight as she can get it.

I agree kk, I don't want to wear my hair up either cause I don't like how it looks up. I usually wear my hair straight but I think if I get some nice layers and it gets blown out with the round brush and gets lots of volume it will look nice. Plus I have some rhinestone bobby pins to pin my bangs and my veil of course.

My hair will be down-I am debating on the curls though :/

Like you,my hair has NEVER held a curl-even with a ceramic iron.

I DID however get these AWESOME CARUSO steam curler set and they are great.

My hair holds the curl and it lasts all day (although they say it will last until you wash it-which I can see if you have easy to curl hair!) and the curls are soft and I DO NOT ned hairspray.

The only thing is that yesterday I did a hair trial (myself) and I think I wound the hair too tight because it was frizzy-ish this time and never was before.

I have really long hair that is stick straight on it's own-I'm thinking I just might get nice fresh highlights and wear my hair down straight to show them off

July, I have curly hair too! I was debating on how I was going to wear it. July, you look nice with straight hair! Most, of the time I think people look with their natural look. We curly haired girls can get away with straightening it (if its not too frizzy) with out it looking fake. But, girls with straight hair can look a bit strange with these hard hair sprayed curls.
