ISO blankets for wedding favor

Rachal, on October 8, 2016 at 2:40 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 33

Hey everyone, I am having a semi-outdoor wedding in November 2018, I'm looking for a place to get blankets from in bulk that isn't extremely expensive. I want to have them as a favor for our guests to take home and be able to wrap up in if they get chilly.

FMIL bought a bunch of pashmina shawls (enough for half of our female guests) from an NYC vendor. She bartered and got them for $3 a piece. You can also find them on amazon for closer to $6 or $7. That would probably work better than going for blankets.

How many people are invited? If it's a big-ish wedding this may be overwhelming.

Walmart has plain colored blankets for around $2 (this is in Alabama). They had black, blue, plum, grey, blue, and red (I think). I bought a ton for kids in my classroom. You might can find them on Walmart's website!

Thank you I'll try amazon and walmart, if I can't get them in bulk I figure I'll buy them a couple batches at a time. I'm getting married in North Central PA so it could be 70 or it could be 20 and snowing it's hard to say.

Semi out door in 20 degrees? Hard pass. Blankets will not cut it.

What are you going to have a back up plan? What are you going to do with the blankets if it's 20 outside and nobody will sit outside?

    1) have a back up plan for the 20 degree weather, so not okay to make people sit out in that.

    2) try dollar tree you can buy in bulk.
