Iso: Late April-early May Honeymoon Ideas

Victoria, on December 30, 2021 at 12:40 AM Posted in Honeymoon 0 6

Hi There-

Looking for ideas for a spring 2022 honeymoon. Would love to go somewhere that doesn't require vac.cards... which might restrict me to the U.S.

However, I'm open to other options if possible1

Thank you and looking forward to hearing ideas.

If you don’t want a vaccine card or COVID test rule you will definitely be limited to places within the US. Do you like the beach, outdoors adventures, etc?

Charleston & Savannah are great for exploring and spending time outdoors.
Disney & Universal are popular if you like amusement parks.
Skiing would be out if it’s late April/early may but several of them switch to hiking opportunities.

We're getting married in April and are avoiding most travel but for the opposite reason. We're in Northern Alabama so our thoughts right now are to rent a cabin or go camping in the Smokey Mountains. If you're into outdoors activities, camping or visiting your closest National Park where you could do some cool hiking might be a good option for you!

Thank you to all who have graciously given responses! We are from South Alabama (Gulf Shores) so we live at the beach and so we don't really want to do anything beach related or tropical. We are getting married in North Alabama (Huntsville, AL) so we thought about going to Gatlinburg, TN or the Smoky Mountains, but we got engaged there so that too would be a repeat trip.

Tennessee last year was really nice for those who opt out of mask-wearing. So we kept TN on our list of possibilities.

As far as our interests... We're media people, so we do love a good photo-opt! haha

I had the thought of doing a road trip through Florida, maybe to some of the springs. (Ginny Springs, Rainbow Springs) That's something we've never done before. I grew up a huge Disney fan, my fiancé has never been.
