It Was Cold... But We Did It! (non-pro pics)

Well... I'm a Mrs. Now! The weather looked gorgeous but it was FREEZING! And to all upcoming brides, I just have one bit of advice. Roll with the punches. What could go wrong for us... did. But it just made our day all the more special.

1. During the rehearsal, we told our set up team to go with Plan B, because the field area we were originally thinking was a wet, muddy mess. So we decided to use the pavillion. It was cozy and had a nice fireplace (perfect for our 46° weather at our outdoor wedding). Not what we originally imagined but still beautiful.
2. My hair wasnt long enough to do the style I originally wanted but my stylist is a CHAMP and rocked one that was super similar. I only had myself to blame since I didnt do a trial but it made it all the more memorable.
3. There was a detour to get to the reception hall (which is also where we got dressed). The town had a festival, so we had to go around.
4. We spilled the mimosas. 🤣
5. I tripped on the railroad tracks during pictures, post ceremony.
6. My husbands dad left before the family pictures, so we had to leave and catch him at the reception hall.
7. We got to the reception 30 minutes early, so we had to hide in the bridal dressing rooms (which was good because we relaxed).
8. My son (who is one) refused to dance during the parent/child dance... which I planned to include him. He wanted to dance by the DJ booth, alone.
9. I cut my husband's hand with the knife during the cake cutting. 🤦‍♀️
10. 1/3 of our RSVPd guests didnt show, without warning.

Despite all those things, i would do them all again to be Mrs. Megan Rumbach. ❤

Are those white pumpkins as the centerpieces? If so, where did you get them / how did you make them? I have seen this idea on Pinterest and really think I want to do something similar for my wedding next fall!

They are fake, from Michael's. We didnt want to have them get nasty so we found the realest, fake pumpkins we could. Lol
