It's National Sunscreen Day! Will you wear it on your big day?

So, are you wearing sunscreen? I'm looking for the perfect sunscreen to wear with my strapless gown. Eventhough our wedding is in December, if the sun is out, I will burn. I'm looking for something that will prevent sunburn, but absorb into my skin. I don't want gooey sunscreen on my body with my gown, veil, and jewlery sticking to it. Nightmare!! I'm going to check out EltaMD. I also want something that doesn't smell like sunscreen. I want to smell bridal, not like I'm going to the pool. I'd love to hear what you are using and doing.

I feel you, I'm super pale so I burn easily. Please do not use "Banana Boat" brand, they were trouble a few years ago.

I hadn't thought about this, thanks for the reminder! I'm also wearing a strapless dress and would look like a lobster without it. But you bring up really good points to consider, I'll have to try a few out before my big day

Omg... I can’t believe I didn’t think of this... what kind of redhead am I 🤣 I will also burn by literally stepping outside so this is very helpful. Sorry I don’t have advice, lol, but I hope you find a good one to use!

Yes, I don't know if you read Robert's comments, but he said many turn his white t-shirts yellow. So we all need to find a good mineral based one. I think it may be the only kind that may not discolor our dresses.

I absolutely need to, as does my FH. Our photos will be in the afternoon on a golf course in August. We both burn super easily. I've even considered carrying umbrellas in between photos! (I'm only kind of kidding.) I don't want to show up to the ceremony as red as can be. If anyone has a cheap, scent-free suggestion, please let me know!

Rachel, have you considered getting a battenburg lace umbrella? It'd be pretty in your pics, if you like them, and serve two purposes. I'm going to have one. When you have time, read through the comments, their are some excellent suggestions on sunscreens. I live in Mississippi. I could not stand to be outside in the August heat all dressed up. Ha! Ha! I hope you are somewhere a bit cooler. ❤
