It’s Officially Football Season!

I’m SO glad that football is back!!!! 🏈 I’m a Cowboys fan (from LA, Cali). While FH is a Raiders fan (from Mississippi). Football doesn’t really fit into our venue or our theme. However, since we’re having a destination wedding in Las Vegas (the Raiders new home), I’m planning to incorporate the Raiders somewhere small into the reception to surprise FH... probably a grooms cake.

That's awesome! My fiance and I are both originally from different states, so we are fans of different teams for every sport. Truly a "house divided", especially for hockey! We're both huge fans of our separate hockey teams, and there's definitely rivalries throughout the season lol. I'm not much of a football fan, but I'll cheer for his team when he has the game on (unless I like the team colors of the other team better 😂). We were originally thinking about doing a hockey themed wedding, but decided against it in the end.

One room downstairs in our house is his Raiders man cave. While another room upstairs is converted to my girly closet/dressing room (and has a few Cowboys accent pieces). It works out perfectly!!

We are definitely not incorporating anything Browns-related into the wedding. 😂

He likes the Steelers and I like the Patriots so he makes fun of me all the time (not in a mean way) for it cause he hates them. I never thought about incorporating sports like that but its a good idea. We both love sports.

My fiance and I are forsure adding some football touches to our wedding. Im a MN Vikings Fan and he is a Green Bay Packer fan and football is a big part in our relationship. We got engaged at a Vikings/Packers game so only fitting to add a bit of football to our wedding!!

We are Eagles fans and everything is AWFUL today.

I'm not kidding, DH didn't want to turn it off (masochist), so I got up, went to the bedroom, cried, and took a nap.

Did NOT help that our baseball team got swept in a doubleheader by the freaking MARLINS.

Philadelphia sports teams: guaranteed to make your day WORSE.

That said, I do like to say ONE thing to Dallas fans:

I'm sorry, but which NFC East teams have titles in this millennium?

YEAH, THAT'S RIGHT.
