It's Our Two Year (dating) Anniversary Today!

We never observed a dating anniversary. I don't even know how people celebrate that. We will celebrate our wedding anniversary. Although, it will likely just be acknowledgement lol.

We’ll probably go out to dinner or something for our dating anniversary but definitely won’t make as big a deal of it anymore. We live in the northeast and our dating anniversary is in February which is literally the WORST weather month, it’s always freezing and you can’t really plan anything elaborate too far in advance because there’s a good chance it’ll get snowed out 😒 A big reason why we chose a June wedding was because it’s generally a good weather month and I was so sick of celebrating our anniversary in single-digit weather 😂

We hardly celebrate dating anniversary as it is, usually just a verbal “happy anniversary”, so we’ll probably keep focus on our wedding anniversary once we’re married. That’s just us though everyone is different!

That's really cool! I remember the first time I talked to FH, but I don't remember what date it was and it wasn't super significant since we met at work and it was just a normal interaction between coworkers. He showed my the most useful feature on our company's handheld devices.

We have been celebrating our dating anniversary (May 31st) with weekends getaways since our second anniversary. Unfortunately, we decided not to travel this year, since our wedding and honeymoon was June 23rd and we had other things going on. Hopefully we can figure out a way to incorporate both into our future adventures.

It makes sense to skip it this year since the dates are pretty close together, but it'll be easier next year since there won't be a wedding to worry about.
