I've already had guests ask to bring extra people - true or false?

False, I've planned ahead for plus ones for close family and wedding party members

True! My fiancé’s grandmother just asked to bring some friends. We originally said yes, but decided not to invite them.

False. No one has asked to bring any extra, in fact I did tell one of my friends to bring someone if she wanted to because she won't know anyone there other than me

True! I can't even lie, it's pissed me off but since it's only been 2 people who asked...I decided to accommodate them.

False. But there's still plenty of time for that. Although everyone single got plus ones and even all children are invited..so people better not try to add more.

False everyone has been good so far but I'm sure by the time invites go out I'll have one or two.

I haven't had this yet we haven't sent out our STD or Invitations but my big mouth sister mention I was getting married to a family member that I don't really talk thanks sis!

We gave a plus one to everyone invited to the ceremony, the reception is free game (ceremony is very small, reception is fairly large). We are having a BBQ pot luck after the ceremony with open invitation to everyone one on Facebook (family and friends, friends of family, family of friends, and friends of friends). If we don't know you already we are excited to meet you and glad you wanted to celebrate with us!

True. Right after we got engaged, I went to lunch with my aunt. The topic of having kids at the wedding came up and I mentioned that we’ll be having an adult only wedding. She said her daughter would be bringing her granddaughters, regardless. We’re still at a standoff and I haven’t even sent out save the dates!

False. But then, we've only sent out Save-the-dates at this point.

My guest list has been a SITUATION. I mean EVERYONE thought they were the exception to the "no kids, no random plus ones" rule, and we had to explain to literally half the guest list one on one as to why NOBODY gets to be "the exception" because we only cut plus ones and kids in the first place due to budgetary constraints. I believe it's all been sorted out now, thank goodness, but the wedding is in 11 days and so I still firmly believe that anything could happen!

Yep, but one of them was my brother who just started dating a girl from way back in HS. He called and asked "can I bring a date" and my response was "How much are you paying her??" LMAO I did not know she was in the car with him!! He had sworn off woman after his ex-wife. and I had no idea he was dating someone. Also the wedding singer came with her little one, (she is the step daughter/sister of life long friends). Worked out fine, cause about 12 people did not show.

False... I haven't even sent out STDs yet. Unless married or in a serious relationship there will be no plus one.

In hindsight, we probably could have let them. At the time, though, I was dealing with major family drama, was concerned about budget, and was kind of offended that people wanted to treat our wedding day (IN NYC, which is ridic expensive) as a date with random people I didn't know.
