Skip the party and have the wedding you can afford

Maybe have it virtually via Zoom

I'm sorry you can't have it!

Definitely try a Zoom or a parade party, unless you can find an outdoor space that will accommodate you?

Maybe set up in the driveway and do a drive-by party? You can set our refreshments for people to grab as they come by, but no one will stay long and there's no hugging/etc.

As other's have said, you can also just not do it, but I assume you've already thought of that and came here for more helpful suggestions.

Of course; happy to help. I've seen people doing driveway wedding/baby showers and overall they've been a hit! I hope it works out for you!!

On this site, I think there is often confusion because different people use the term "Jack & Jill" to mean very different things. For some it is a basically a co-ed shower, hosted by others for a couple. However, in certain locations it refers to a party thrown by the couple that is basically a fundraiser, with tickets sold/raffles/etc., for the express purpose of raising money to pay for their wedding. There are usually very different reactions, depending on the type of event the poster is asking about. If you're talking about a shower hosted by someone else, I think the drive-by or virtual options are pretty common in the current situation.

You can do a drive by and/or schedule your party 10 people per time frame every 2-3 hr.

What kind of Jack and Jill are you talking about? A shower or a fundraiser?
