Hi everyone, my fiancé and I are planning to have our wedding in Jamaica. Does anyone know of wedding venues that are not resorts or hotels? We want the use a venue that has beautiful gardens and possibly a mansion or something similar. Our style is rustic with a touch of elegance,

Hey first thing would be what side / pet of Jamaica are you guys looking at? If you’re looking more toward the eastern side of the island there’s Trident hotel.. it’s a hotel but also an iconic waterfront hotel that’s been used in movies and music videos. Truly breathtaking views.

If you use weddingwire and search for wedding venues in Jamaica, a lot of other mansions and beautiful places come up including the iconic Devon House in Kingston. Depending on the size of your wedding and budget, I have a small obsession with Geejam Hotel in Port Antonio.. if you google “geejam hotel weddings” you’ll see some photos. I took my fiancé there the last time we went for vacation in 2019.. he loved it.

Oh wow, I'm very late on this, but maybe not too late, and perhaps this could be useful for future brides as I also did not want a resort wedding. I got married at laughing waters villa in ocho rios last november. 10/10 recommend. They don't have gardens per say but when you rent the villa you also have access to the beach and the forrest. The villa itself is also 'rustic with a touch of elegance' loved it!

Ah I don’t think they have a website and I booked through my wedding planner so I didn’t really interact with them. Maybe try calling their number on Google via Skype? 🤞🏾
