Jamaica or Costa rica?

I traveled to Costa Rica last year (literally a year ago - the Facebook memories for this past week have been killing me!) and I loved everything about it. We visited the Guanacaste region on the Pacific side. We spent lots of time admiring the jungle and wildlife. I learned I'm obsessed with monkeys. There was a spot of jungle about a half mile down the beach from our resort where monkeys were everywhere in the early morning. Needless to say I was up at 5 am every morning to go monkey watching. FH thought I was nuts. There's plenty to do and see, and the Costa Rican people are wonderful. Their country is beautiful and I felt very safe while traveling there! I definitely recommend visiting. As far as Jamaica, I was there on a cruise when I was a teenager. All I really remember doing besides the beach was climbing up a giant waterfall. I know people who have been to Jamaica though, and they absolutely love it!

I debated between costa rica & some other Caribbean islands before finally deciding on St Lucia. My travel agent told me this about Costa Rica : don't go here if you're looking to relax. She said this is more of an adventure trip. So, I'm planning to go there another time as I'm looking to relax after all of this wedding planning. P.S. I've been to Jamaica 3x, and would have gone there for my honeymoon if I hadn't been there so many times already. Love it there...,so much to do, but also nice beaches and relaxing!
