Jamaica packages

marissa, on March 22, 2011 at 10:44 AM Posted in Honeymoon 0 7

We are thinking of taking a delayed (but well worth the wait) honeymoon in Jamaica in June. Are there any good websites that won't overcharge that anyone recommends (all inclusive).

Is it safe to go to Jamaica?

We're doing Jamaica in October via Sandals. Sandals is probably a bit more expensive then most, but it really does offer a ton of extras.

Also, I think you're fine as long as you stay around the resort area. But in June you might have to worry about hurricanes, not sure when the season starts but I know it doesn't end until November.

    Good Luck!

We LOVE www.allinclusiveoutlet.com (right now the website is down) You can call them at 1-888-403-2822. We will be going to Jamaica Nov. 4-11 Staying at Couples swept away in negril. We paid $2700 after Christmas sale. We booked through allinclusive for that one. But if you can get it for $3000..thats still an AMAZING price. We have also used www.cheapcarribean.com when we have visited Couples in the past. The first trip, cheapcarribean was cheaper, this time around, allinclusive was cheaper.

Couples, Couples, Couples! You can book through their website at couples.com

Otherwise, I've heard awesome things about Iberostar Rose Hall in Montego Bay. Try visiting a travel agent or applevacations.com for other ideas.

I went to one of my friends weddings and she had it at a castle in Port Antonio called Trident Castle wedding and it was soooo gorgeous. There was the Blue Lagoon really close by which was awesome for pictures and the villas had really good prices for stay...the cool thing about Port Antonio too was the fact that it's untouched by shit tons of tourism and really has that real laid back Jamaican feel.

This is the castle and you can actually stay here although I am not sure pricing for this place since I just attended wedding and party the one night there...

Here's the link to Trident Castle: http://www.tridentcastle.com/

And here's the Blue Lagoon villas she had everyone staying at that is overlooking the Blue Lagoon, once again, she paid guests stay so I am not sure exact pricing but maybe it's worth looking into: http://www.bluelagoonvillas.com/

I do not recommend booking through the couples website. We have priced things out previously, and they were almost $500 more expensive for the same trip on www.allinclusiveoutlet.com . I do however recommend looking on www.couples.com for pictures and reviews from couples "veterans". Some of those people have been going to couples 1x a year for the last 20 years! They are a wealth of information!

I am getting married in Jamaica (Negril). Frankly, Phoenix (where I live) is kind of scary at night in some sections. Don't do stupid stuff, like look for drugs or walk around with money hanging out of your pockets and you should be fine!
