Dedicated February 2022

It seems like more 2020 brides who pushed to 2021 are pushing their weddings back to 2022 due to COVID so it makes me wonder if my February 2022 date would be even "somewhat" safe. Im planning on 80-100 guests. Any Winter/Spring Brides nervous about COVID the 1st half of 2022? Or are you confident...

Any Winter/Spring Brides nervous about COVID the 1st half of 2022? Or are you confident that we'll be somewhat(not completely) normal?

I'm planning for September 2022, hoping things are somewhat normal then. The thing keeping me confident is my cousin is getting married in 2022 as well but July, she is a nurse at MassGeneral Hospital in Boston and has spent several months on COVID only floors and is very cautious of COVID and just signed her contract for her reception for July 2022 out of a state both her and our family does not live in, so if she's confident in her wedding plans so am I

My wedding is in May 2022. I pray we have some relief by then with covid. My guest list is 300 people and I have family traveling from Buffalo, NY and Florida. I just pray covid is gone.

I think it will be fine by then. We are planning end of April 2022, and it will be outside. Reception in tent outside, so if anyone has concerns that should help alleviate them. Otherwise, stay home 😁

We were a little worried about it as well but I have a good feeling things will be moving along by then. I'm sure we will still be wearing masks but I think people will be back to somewhat normalcy that is if kids are able to go back to School. Fingers crossed!

We have the same date!! I'm thinking positive. Worst case scenario I'll push it to May 2023. Or just have it but small elopment at the same spot but with a dinner afterwards. I think well be ok. Where is your wedding location? I already booked mine and main vendors. Also, I just ask the vendors if they do a refund with thier deposits or honor a postponed date.

Ladies I do have something positive to share. So in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara County where my wedding will be. Weddings fall under cultural events with state guidelines. So indoor rooms/halls can be occupied at 25% right now. My reception room holds 120 people so 30 people would be allowed. I'm thinking things can only get better with time. I am also a 2022 Spring bride. Lets keep that positivity flowing. Smiley ring Smiley cake

I’m getting married in late December ‘21 in Ohio! I got engaged in 2019 and really did not want to have to wait another year. I’m hoping to have 150 guests and have somewhat of a normal ceremony.
I have friends getting married in June ‘21, October ‘21 and November ‘21 who are moving ahead with planning as well.I worry about vaccine issues and new strains but we are confidently planning currently. I feel like we will have a better idea of how things are going by the summer.

Mine is 1/28/22. I'm doing the same! Planning like everything will be okay for 100+ as well. I'm contemplating getting masks made but wont make that decision until Sep/Oct.

Aaaaaaand just like that weddings are back in California. As long as guests show proof of a negative Covid-19 test or proof of vaccine you can have you 150 people wedding and reception indoors and outdoors!

I'm pretty confident since so many are getting vaccinated. Talk to your family, friends, and vendors. Depending where you're having it, you can still offer safe distance and masks etc. To stay safe. If you are still concerned you can cut your guest list or push it back. Good luck!!!

My date is May 2022, I'm not a replanner, this is my original date. I booked my venue in October under the belief that everything will be fine by May 2022. I'm having an outdoor wedding with 100+. Luckily in my state the outdoor mask mandate was just lifted for vaccinated people. Hopefully we will keep moving forward.

Today the rates are starting to soar. We’re vaccinated and many invitees are as well however my fear is another shut down. We’re having a destination wedding in Mexico Feb 22,2022 and I’m starting to worry.
