January 2nd Wedding Question

Has anyone here had a January 2nd wedding or is anyone planning to? How did you/are you doing the rehearsal? Since typically it falls the night before, which is New Years Day in this case. Did this date cause any issues for you overall?

    None of my friends or family really care about New Years day at all. It's a day of recovery, if anything. This wouldn't be an issue in my circle.

    Exactly!!!!! So you would have your rehearsal that evening/night and everyone should have already sobered up by then.

    Hi Kayla! Congratulations on your engagement!

    I don’t think having your rehearsal dinner on January 1st is an issue. Everyone who will be attending will have plenty of notice that your rehearsal dinner is on that evening so your guests can just plan accordingly!

    I don’t think it is something you should worry about!
