I mean, it depends on the kinds of things you like. We honeymooned at Disney World, which is awesome year-round (to us). It is less busy in January, because the kids just went back to school.

Beaches are lovely that time of year and a nice escape from the cold, if you live somewhere that's a concern. There are many all-inclusive resorts in the Bahamas, Jamaica, etc.

If you like the mountains, maybe look for a ski resort? H was just showing me video of the snow falling outside of this lovely mountain cabin - I could handle a week sitting inside, drinking hot drinks, playing games, and watching it snow - as long as I mostly didn't have to go out in it.

Some people like to vacation in large cities.

I think you need to give consideration of the things you like to do, and then plan from there. Your FH should have significant input lol.

Really depends on what you guys like & don’t like. Do you want beachy or cabin? We’re the adventurous type, cruising is our favorite way to vacation. You get to see so much of the world at a very reasonable price. However, for our honeymoon, we’re going to Jamaica! Going to a Sandals resort- they are all inclusive, even down to the alcohol& some excursions. I don’t drink but my fiancé does enjoy a nice cold beer. They have some really good deals. Try talking to a travel agent to get some ideas. I booked everything myself because I didn’t want to pay someone for something I can do myself.

I would recommend Key West , Florida or anywhere in Florida really I just honeymooned in fort Walton destin area and the off season is perfect because the weather is nice but it’s not packed with tourist and there’s plenty of romantic spots and activities, food and the beach practically for yourselves since it’s winter.

We’re also getting married Fall 2021 and honeymooning 2022. We’re looking into somewhere in the Caribbean due to weather (and less restrictions) as of now

We did Disney in January for our honeymoon, and it was great. So much less crowded. And it was cold for Florida, too - apparently their coldest week in decades! But we're from NYC, it was still at least 20F warmer than home, so we didn't complain.

Without the crowds, Disney is a lot more manageable and less intimidating.

But it all depends on what you like to do. (DH and I are not beach people, hence Disney.)
