Jello Shots (NWR)

I make jello shots every year for camping. I boil 1 cup of water, add the jello and let it cool for a few minutes. then I add 1/2 cup cold water and 1/2 cup vodka. I've done it before where I don;t use any cold water and just vodka..but people seemed to think they were way to strong. A few tips..spray the inside of your cups/molds with pam before pouring in the jello...they will slide RIGHT out when you eat them. Also, if you add liquor when the water is still too hot, the strength of the vodka will weaken. It evaporates slightly. I always let mine sit in the fridge for 5-10 minutes before adding any booze.

Malibu with anything is really good! definitely on my recommended list

Do 1cup boiling water 1 cup vodka and or you can add whatever flavor alcohol you have jello like i used to do watermelon jelloo with watermelon jack daniels coolers or cherry jello with cherry vodka but with 1 cup if each they are strong anymore then that is pure alcohol taste!!

This post made me crave some jello shots. Fh got home from work and was pretty amused by my need to go to the liquor store. Soo, I got pineapple jello, malibu coconut, vodka, cherry jello, and some little shooter cups. I might try out the jiggler idea and regular jello shots with my easter jello molds so I can tell you from experience if it works.

Mmm i love malibu coconut rum and pineapple jello - soooo delicious...you can get really tanked though. i also found that the rum held better than the vodka.

I am in love with the drink malibu pineapple so I figured the jello shots would be amazing [and they are lol] I definitely want to do strawberry banana sometime Michelle. I bet that is good! Lillie, I can't count the number of times I've just kept popping them in my mouth just because they were good and then suddenly realized I as trashed. [Classy, I know]

Oh gosh...now i scared people will be so drunk from my jello shots on top of drinking other things...wine, beer, liquor...

Im thinking I'll make just one shot for each girl lol

1 oz vodka

1 oz Amaretto

1 oz Baileys

Wet Spot

2 oz Baileys

1 oz Tequila

Mmm... jello shots!! I use Cruzan flavored rum. My fav is coconut with blue jello! Last time I made them I bought coconut and pineapple rum, then bought 4 different flavors of jello so there was a variety. Everyone loved them!

I did Malibu and pinapple jello shots for a friends bach party last year. They were ok, but my mistake ones went in minutes. Malibu and strawberry jello. For some reason it worked. Another fav (esp for ladies) is Asti Spumanti and strawberry jello.

No, jello does not rise.
