Those of you planning on wearing a tiara or crown are you toning down your jewelry due to that? I am not sure about my tiara and the jewelry that I am thinking might go with it. My dress has a jeweled belt on the dress.

I could see how your jewelry matches your crown. I think it depends on your dress and how simple or ornate it is.

I actually have a friend that wore a tiara for her wedding! She went with a simple necklace and still had dangly earrings.

I'm wearing a tiara. I was just thinking about jewelry yesterday. I know I'll do some kind of drop earrings. My hair will be half up, half down, so I want something in my ears. But I'm not sure about a necklace yet. I have a strapless dress, but with the tiara, the earrings and the jeweled belt, that may be enough. A necklace might be overkill. So, I just have to try it out and see how it looks. My daughter and my cousin both have some costume jewelry that I'll use to try different looks.
