JJs House

Dimpless, on July 13, 2017 at 8:36 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 25

Has anyone ordered from JJs House? I just found the website this morning & I want to know if anyone used this website before i use it. I'm very skeptical about buying things on the internet but i seen some good things for a reasonable price.

Thanks Smiley smile

I'm pretty sure it is one of those fake knock-off websites.

Sent wrong color veil and awful customer service. My package was lost but tracking showed delivered so they would not help at all.

They steal designer wedding dresses and use cheaper fabrics to try and replicate them. It's a crapshoot whether you will end up with anything wearable or not. Their business model is outright theft of intellectual property. I wouldn't support them nor take the chance of wasting my money.

They steal designs and send knock offs. I had found a dress with another website and found that same dress on 4 other websites claiming it was their own design but even had the model picture! I eventually tracked down the original designer of the dress from New York and let me know what was happening. They were actually shocked to find so many of their designs on Jj house and other sites operated by Jj house.

Don't take the chance. Order from the designer or reputable stores.

It's a scam website. My FMIL ordered a dress to wear for our wedding from JJ's House. It was supposed to be sage green and it came in looking more like neon green. It was also not at all as shown on their website. My mother did not listen to me when I told her not to order from Lightinthebox.com because it's very similar to JJ's house but she did anyways. Her dress is currently in transit so we'll find out if it'll also be a cheap knock off.

You would be better off using Amazon and eBay honestly. eBay-you can get a custom made dress from China. There's a Facebook group of trusted sellers. No one on there uses JJ's house. Amazon has more feedback than eBay if you're into that sort of thing. I bought my dress and veil on eBay. Would be happy to tell you the seller.

No way. Just read some reviews online! Not worth the gamble. Check out etsy or amazon!

There was a post earlier from Candy L. She ordered a dress from JJ's Prom/JJ's house and her experience was NOT positive.

So my dress is actually JJs house and I LOVE it and it seems to be good enough quality, but I bought it with tags still on from a used weddding dress shop so I really can't speak to the actual reputation of the site or customer service. :/

I just purchased a gorgeous Justina McCaffrey gown (retail $1900) from Tradesy for $275. The seller was selling it for $300 but if you're a new first-time member if you sign up they will give you $25 off. If you received the package and it's not authentic or as the seller described in any way you can send it to the site and they will verify the authenticity. If it's not you will receive a full refund. It was risky and I was scared it wouldn't fit but I received it very quickly and I absolutely love my gown I can't stop staring at it. Be sure to verify first if the seller still has the Gown available. Next make sure you ask the seller how it has been stored and if it comes from a pet free and smoke-free home. Also ask the sellers measurements height and weight this allows you to compare the fit to you. Also ask if it's been altered in any way. If it's been worn or if there's any damage to the gown. If the seller does not respond I would not purchase from them. Also I wouldn't purchase anything from overseas. Lastly make sure the seller takes pictures of the actual item especially if the posted picture is the designers photo.

I have no experience with dresses there, but I bought shoes for 6 girls and 6 guys for something NWR like 8 months ago. Of the 12 pairs, I think maybe 4 were the right size, and we measured everyone's feet. One pair had 2 different sized shoes! They refused to take them back and wanted me to pay the $75 shipping charge to send some of them back to exchange! We made most of them work by switching around shoes between people, but I ate the cost of 3-4 pairs. Long story short, I do NOT recommend them. Smiley smile
