Has anyone ordered anything from jjshouse.com? Some of their prices are unbelievable....but is it too good to be true?

I thought about purchasing a pair of shoes from them until I saw.the shipping charges. I don't remember if it was this specific vendor, but sometimes the "free" shipping is via China express and can take over 30 days. For DHL or UPS the shipping costs were over $30.00. For a $20 pair of shoes it wasn't worth it to me. I found my shoes elsewhere.

Just my experience, check shipping costs.

It is a chinese shop, right? Regarding China, you just need to use your noggin. If you can read reviews by real people and they say good things, it's likely you can trust them. If there aren't reviews, beware. Also, look carefully at any photos - a friend was wanting to get bridesmaid dresses from China, and I talked her out of it when I realised the 'models' were Jenny Frost and Shakira! Before I got wise to stuff like that, I did order a dress for a costume ball from China (ebay) and when it came it looked nothing like and was shoved in a bag without care for wrinkles etc. Just need to be careful really!

I just had an issue with them. I believe it is a chinese knock off site but, the bride of a wedding I am in insisted we get our BM dresses from there. The measurements were ALL wrong. I tried to return it, and they wouldn't take it. I FINALLY found a seamstress that would even take it! She is completely reconstructing the entire dress. The dress was $150, $20 for shipping and now I'm dishing out another $75 to fix the damn thing. Ridiculous.

I wanted to order bridesmaid dresses from there, but I was worried it may be too good to be true. They were gorgeous and the price was unbelievable too. I did a bunch of research and it is on a list of scamming sites. I didn't want to deal with that.

I have purchased a dress from a chinese knockoff site before, and got exactly what the description said, but it was also a cheap $12 dress and I was just doing it to see if I can trust them. I think some people get lucky but in reality they're just trying to make money and don't care about quality.

I seriously wouldn't trust them. Maybe try light in the box or something like that, it's similar but according to my research it's more trustworthy. Really thought you'll just be taking a huge risk.

My mom bought one there for my brother's wedding. It was made well and came in on time, but it was too small. She is not sure what kind of measuring system they use, but the dress didn't fit.

Thank you ladies! Lol I wasn't considering a wedding dress from there...but some of their BMs dresses are really pretty! And they've got accessories (veils and what not) for NOTHING. Alas, my search continues....thanks for being a voice of reason ladies!!

My Friend ordered her wedding dress from JJs House. She put in her exact measurements and when it came, it was too small. The boning and the fabric is very cheap. Her mom added a crinolin and she lost a bit of weight to fit into it. In pictures, the dress looks fantastic. you can tell it is a bit small but she looked beautiful. You could tell the quality up close though. She wanted us to order our bm dresses too but we ended up going with twobirds.

I looked into this as well, but it has a lot of negatives. I would check out simplybridal.com. It's a US based online dress store that custom makes the dresses for you and it's around the same price as JJs. It has many positive reviews.
