Jobs for 4, 9, 11 yr old boys.

Leesha, on May 6, 2015 at 3:03 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 5

So i am a little stuck.

FH's lil cousin who is 4 is going to be our ring bearer. But i really want to included my 9 and 11 yr old brothers in our day some how.

Could i have my 9 year old brother walk down the aisle with the ring bearer? they could kind of share the job? One hold the sign one hold the ring?

What about the 11 year old? I was thinking of maybe having him hand out programs, and making sure people sign the guest book...I feel that this is not enough, and i really want him to feel special.

Do you think these jobs are ok?

Can you suggest any jobs for these boys to do on our wedding day?

I would totally appreciate it Smiley smile

I'd say Usher for the 11 year old, 9 if he's mature. Honestly though, at those ages, the honor was to not have to do anything for the wedding.

I have my 9 year old cousin walking my Aunt (his grandmother) and then My mom down the aisle.

We're not having a RB or FG, but I wanted to give him something to do

We're having the 7, 8 and 8 yr old nephews escort the flowers down the aisle ( FH wanted them to have the title of Jr. Groomsmen) and the 4 yr old nephew will be our ring bearer. The 12 yr old cousin will be a Jr. Groomsmen and walk with my 11 yr old goddaughter who will be a Jr. Bridesmaid. So I would say do whatever feels right for you and your family.

Could you make the 9 and 11 yr brothers as Jr. Groomsmen and they just walk down before the ring bearer? Maybe they carry roses for you and FH to give to your Moms during the ceremony?

Unless they are really into it, I'd let 'em pass on it....
