Joint Bachelor + Bachelorette Ideas?

Angel, on October 12, 2020 at 1:45 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 6

Hi everyone! Smiley smile I was one of many who postponed our wedding, we got married in August but postponed the wedding for March. (Fingers crossed that this new date will work out!) We've had the idea to go to Vegas as a group for awhile now, because I never went for my 21st. Hubby's friends and mine are all really close so it'll be fun to go as a group. However, due to COVID, we won't be going to Vegas.

We live in SoCal, and as of now, here are our top options: Santa Barbara, San Diego, Palm Springs & Big Bear. *We'd be going late January, so there'd be snow in Big Bear. We plan to have one night all together, and one night for just the boys and just the girls. Here's some things I want to do: spa, day drinking/shopping, maybe a brewery or something. Husband wants: gambling, golfing, drinking, lol. Our wedding experience has been exhausting, so we really want these parties to be fun (we also aren't doing a honeymoon, just had a local minimoon), but affordable.

Any other ideas for activities and/or locations? TIA Smiley smile

*Disclaimer: Not into wineries or strip clubs

We had one of these and it was so fun! All those locations sound great but for late January I think San Diego sounds amazing. At ours we kind of split up and the boys went to a football game and the girls went to the spa, then we all met up afterwards and went to dinner/bars

How fun!! Play games! I saw many fun bachelorette games on social media and YouTube. Such as twerking all ping pong balls from an empty tissue box, play “most likely to ....” between you and fh, etc...

We did this for my best friend’s wedding and it was a lot of fun. We did one night, but what we did was we all went out to dinner first, ate and had some drinks, then headed over to a bowling alley and did a Groom vs. Bride bowling game to see who scored the highest. After that we went to play laser tag and the place we went to allowed us to book only our party, so we did the same Groom vs. Bride teams and the person running it was a lot of fun and made announcements tailored to the wedding party theme. Then after that the girls went off and hung out and the guys went off and hung out. So we did a kind of spa night with wine and movies and they did a fire pit type thing with their own movies. It was more relaxing than some people want but it was a LOT of fun.
