Joint Bachelor/ Bachelorette Parties?

Chelsea, on January 31, 2021 at 3:05 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 6
Just curious if anyone has experience. Due to covid we don’t know the times bars or things will be open we have a curfew here but being in the public out also we’re worried.
We started to look at Airbnb/ cottages so we’re staying safe with our group verses the public. Also how far out did you plan for this. We’re going into February, our wedding is early July and we’re thinking May. Like is it to far out to plan and book or wait and see?

Personally, I’d start finding a place now. People are going to start wanting to go on vacations after a summer of staying home.

For May, I would go ahead and start nailing down a date and looking for places now, and book by late Feb/early March. The curfew may be lifted by then, but if you're not comfortable in public now, I don't think you'll be much more comfortable by May.

My bridesmaids and I just started looking for airbnbs this past week for my bachelorette party in mid April. While there are a lot of options open, many of the really nice options with 5+ beds have already been reserved. Going into March, people will start thinking about their Memorial Day and summer plans.

My husband and I originally planned a coed trip to Atlantic City for the weekend with our bridal parties. We booked an Air B&B and planned a dinner, to go to a club, and booked a few other activities and left some time for whatever else we wanted to do. We booked it in February for a June trip. Unfortunately this was 2020 and everything was shut down and we had to cancel the trip. But we were definitely looking forward to it!

We had a co-Ed trip as well! We had our bridal party plus their SO’s, and we booked a cabin in the woods and spent the whole weekend relaxing.

I would also start looking for a place now and book it by late February, just to be on the safe side

My wife and I did a joint bachelorette party! We have a lot of the same friends, so it just made sense. We went on a long weekend trip to Savannah, GA in August before our October wedding. The Airbnb was booked around May, I believe.
