Joint bachelor/bachelorette party?

Taran, on May 12, 2020 at 12:29 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 5

So my FH and I are planning to do a joint bachelor/bachelorette party. We don't have a big bridal party, just my sister as MOH and his brother as the best man. Our plan is to have my sister and her husband over as well as my fiance's brother for a game night at our apartment. Has anyone done something like this before? I don't want it to feel like just another game night. I bought some fun cups off amazon that say "bach and boozy" but other than that I have no ideas on how to make it feel more special than just a game night.

My FH and I went to a shooting range in Pennsylvania, along with my brothers, step-father, grandfather, and uncle. My FH isn’t one of those guys who needs a trip to Vegas with all that nonsense before the wedding. I wasn’t planning to have a bridal shower/bachelorette party, so since my FH knew I had always wanted to shoot, he invited me and said he wouldn’t take no for an answer.
I say go for it if the two of you are into it! It’s a great time, especially if you are very close in friendship with your partner!

What about mixing up some of your favorite cocktails? Or having a themed flight of drinks for the night based on your personal stories together?

You could also do a quick version of the Newlywed Game and have your siblings come up with a few fun questions to quiz you on!

We are doing a joint party too because I only have 2 bridesmaids now (one dropped out and my MOH can't attend) and I'm really close with his groomsmen anyways! Plus we got tired of trying to get responses from our wedding party about it so we are doing it ourselves lmao.

We are planning on renting out our local roller skating rink and having pizza and our own playlist and stuff like that, then afterwards going back to our apartment for some cheesy movies and games! Have you made any plans yet? i am a bit late to this discussion haha but I'm trying to find some ideas! I really want bach party shirts, but I can't find any that are for a joint party.

That sounds like so much fun! We ended up doing a game night at our apartment. We had board games and darts and drinking games and an array of cocktails. I ordered cups of amazon that said "bach and boozy" You could look for matching bride and groom shirts (I've seen a lot on etsy) and get "I do crew" shirts for you party
