Just Said Yes July 2023

Are any couples getting married next July 4th weekend? We're are about to book our venue for Sunday, July 2 2023. Our thinking is that most people will be off since July 4th falls on a Tuesday (companies will give that Monday and Tuesday off or people will just take that Monday off).

I think people will take off that Monday. We’re only off that Tuesday, but I’m taking off Monday to have an extended weekend.

Hi there, I agree with Imani while some employers maybe generous I think most employers will just give the actual holiday off. Another thing to consider at some places of employment you cannot tack on to holidays with personal/vacation days meaning you can take the day before or after a holiday off but you will not get paid for it. Good luck to you!

Another consideration might be the availability and cost of accommodations, flights, etc., if any of your guests aren't local. In many locations, prices go up considerably and there may be longer minimum stays required for lodging over a holiday weekend. I'd be sure to consider that before signing a contract.

My date too! My fiancé and I think most (but not all) people will have off and others who do not will probably take off
