I shouldn't make you feel behind! We don't have our officiant or uplighting figured out. I had a longer engagement too, 19 months total!

I'm in June 2019 But I have the following done.

Venue booked (Paying the final payment August 20th)

Photographer Booked (Signing papers August 20th)

Caterer and menu Picked (Will pay deposit next month but they are holding the date)

Dress purchased

Tuxes will officially booked (rental) This Saturday

Buying bride's maids dresses and shoes as well as my shoes, hair piece, and veil Sunday

all décor is picked out and purchased except for a few packs of floating candles and string lights

invitations and STDs are picked and will be purchased soon

we are booking the DJ August 20th

You're ahead of me! I'm hoping to have our caterer picked out by October. We have our first tasting tonight! We are doing 5 total, the last one is in the beginning of October. The caterers don't do the desserts we want so we have to schedule dessert tastings after! Have you found your officiant and florist and hair and makeup?

We need to find a new minister (darned if it isnt the most important part!)
The only flowers we are getting are bouquets for myself and 3 girls so it is kinda the thing we are putting off
My hairstylist will do my hair but I do what I am doing with it yet
My sister and I are doing makeup and buying it all next month

I'm next July, and your making me feel so behind haha! I thought I was doing good. I have my guest list done, venue booked and we had our first go over meeting. DJ just booked this week, and our friend will be our officiant. Still need to find a photographer and cake vendor, need to find the best hotel at to book rooms for out of town guests. My save the date magnets come tomorrow and I'm excited to get them out. Earlier this month I found a beautiful wedding dress that will be here in October. I actually today just made a google doc of all my ideas/links for decorations and different aspects of the reception. I also made a to do sheet I was given by a fellow bride to give me an idea of timelines! I'm stressed because I had picked out my bridesmaid dresses to be made (because they are unique) and I think the etsy store just went out of business!

Haha don't feel behind! I just over plan and I've already had 7 months to plan so I've been busy. It sounds like you have a lot done so far. I have like 6 Google Docs and the largest Google Sheet haha! And oh no about the Etsy store!!! I hope you can find another.

I am really behind!! I just toured my backup venue that we now have to use. Still need to put a deposit down on most of my vendors..money is hard to come by but I'm hoping it will work out!! Our officiant is my fiances grandpa who's a pastor. Other than that I am suffering D:

Save the Date Photo

(Sorry this photo is so big.) We are July 29 - second wedding for both of us (we lost our spouses 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 years ago) and we are going big because we can afford it, so this has been fun. We live in south Florida and booked the church, our venue, set up the website, sent out save the date cards (photo above) booked the month of planner, picked the florist, finalizing a piano bar musician (our favorite place to go dancing on Friday nights!!) for entertainment, got room blocks at two hotels, selected the bridal party and groomsmen. He decided on a white dinner jacket tux and I'm still working on the dress Letting my bridesmaids pick their own dresses (they are all in their 50's so I thought they should pick what looks right on them) and our theme is black and white with red roses. Still need to pick a cake but we are leaning toward cupcakes with a small cake, invitations and making a decision on E-RSVP's or mail in ones. Did I miss anything?

I'm a fan of photo booths! Our venue supplies one, so we are using it. We are going to send the pictures with our thank you cards.

Hello ladies! I think you may all have me beat. My wedding in July also and the only thing I have done is venue, DJ and that's it. I wrote a guest list but it's not even finalized. I'm excited, overwhelmed, over worked and overthinking all at the same time. I didn't even choose a dress yet.

I was told dresses take 4-6 months to ship, so you still have time for sure! We just have over 100 out of state guests (200 guests total) so I knew we needed save the dates & hotel blocks out ASAP!

I wish we decided to elope and throw a party. I don’t like wedding planning at all. Booked venue and caterer, HMUA, photographer, and DJ. Dress was custom made. Family member offered to be officiant.

Still need to figure out the cake, flowers, guest list, and invites.

Well at least you are almost there! It sounds like you have a lot done, but I would assume guest list is most important.

Well this just made me feel like im sooo behind 😩😩 July 27th, 2019..
We have bugdet, invites, bridesmaid proposals, list of guest’s, list of wedding party, venue (all inclusive; catering, cake, open bar, day of coordinator, uplighting, tables, chairs, linens, napkins, centerpieces), church, DJ, makeup and hair. I bought my dress last month but ended up hating it so i’ll be going back in 2 weeks to exchange it.

I think you are fine! Are you sending out save the dates? I'd focus on photographer & officiant next, that's pretty important. I'd also send out bridesmaids proposals with the dress you want them to buy so they have time to save if they need. Then videographer & hotel block & transportation. Then wedding website & registry. If you just put a lot of work in this month, you should be fine!
