Dedicated July 2021

July 2021 Brides, Summer 2021 Brides

We’re having our wedding July 17, 2021 after postponing from July 2020. We have just about everything ready to go. We are from philly, but having a destination wedding in Sanibel, Fl —inviting around 75 people, but not expecting that many to show.

How are you feeling?? I’m hopeful, but cautious!

7/31 and same. Hopeful but leaning more towards cautious. It is what it is is kinda my attitude and I know whatever it looks like that day I will love

I honestly thought that things would be getting better after the holidays, but unfortunately they seem to be getting worst instead 😥. I think that by June a 75 person wedding may be allowed. My husband and I had to cancel our venue yesterday for our March wedding, now we're trying to figure things out.

We’re having a small 40sh person wedding (if everyone invited comes) but we’re totally ready to switch to the back up plan if need be.

July bride here. I’m hopeful but also cautious. We didn’t send out save the dates just in case we need to cut the guest list

Same situation- original date 7/4/20 now 7/3/21. Original guest list around 200 which obviously won’t be happening. Hoping to be able to invite half that but regardless of numbers, we’ll get married this year. I think by July the restrictions will be looser, hopefully similar to last summer but definitely still some in place. We’ve made multiple plans and will be ready for whatever’s allowed come July!

7/30/21 over here... moved our date last month from 5/1/21 to buy us some more time and warm weather! Our guest list is around 120 people, I’m hopeful that we can have 100. I’m getting the vaccine next week and praying that things will get better soon!!

Thinking of you 💔 I think you made the right call by postponing now so that you can find a new date that will work for your big celebration!!

We were having the discussion tonight. We postponed from June 2020 to June 2021. We sent 100 people the new save the date but with the numbers and new strain, we are Calvert concerned. Also, the wedding is supposed to be held in Puerto Rico.... no clue what to do as of now. I know there has to be a point where I cancel so my guests won’t buy tickets, reserve a hotel, etc. I’m interested to hear what others are doing.

I'm so over it. The show will carry on, but no more anxiety for me. I'm giving it up to God.

Yes I’m feeling the same way! The good thing is our resort/ballroom is doing a lot to make guests feel safe/keep things clean.

I feel that! I don’t plan on postponing again, so I definitely need to work on calming my nerves because the show will go on no matter what!

It really is so hard when there’s no way of know what things will look like this summer! We don’t plan on postponing again. On my website I’m going to include all of the things that the resort/ballroom is doing to keep things clean and keep their guests safe. I’m hoping this will make our guests feel more comfortable!

Yay! So glad you are getting the vaccine. I’m hoping it will be widespread by May so that the summer will be safer. I’m a teacher and should be able to get my vaccine by March hopefully!

Glad that you have multiple plans! A backup plan is always good! In July 2020 restrictions were looser here too, so with the vaccine I’m hoping things will be even better this July. Crossing my fingers and toes lol.

That’s smart because there’s no way of knowing at the moment! Hopefully we’ll have more information soon!

Aw I’m so sorry that you had to cancel your March wedding! It’s really hard. I’m hopeful that the next few months will look different than they do now and that we’ll be able to have our summer wedding even if it looks a little different. I hope I’m not being overly optimistic lol. Good luck to you and your husband, your day will be beautiful whenever it comes!

Same. After this, we will cancel. I would not mind just a small ceremony with immediate family. The issue is I’m in Florida, parents and one sister in Tennessee, and my younger sister in the heart of Los Angeles. That’s the tricky part.
