Very similar situation! 8/28/21 bride from Philly area. Getting married in OBX. Not too sure how many guests will come, but we are going to go through with it anyway. We've been planning since last winter. Hoping for the best.

We postponed Sept 26, 2020 to Feb 27, 2021 and now to July 31, 2021.

Hi!! We too were meant to have our celebration on July 25 2020, switched the reception to July 31 2021. Wondering if everyone is working on another backup date?? I feel like doing it now would be admitting defeat, but I fear that makeup dates will be gone if we wait too long. How is feeling on that?

Same situation! Postponed from 7/11/20 to 7/10/21. We are in California and are starting to worry that we’ll either have to make major sacrifices or postpone again. No idea what to do. The misery of postponing the first time was pretty brutal, so I’m dreading having to make the decision again.

I’m hoping that a good portion of our guests feel comfortable enough to come, but I completely understand if they don’t want to. If you are looking to choose a backup date, I would suggest putting a soft hold on one fast god forbid you did have to postpone again!
