Congratulations to all July Brides 👰 🎊

Ooooo-weeee! Our date has changed from May 22nd, to July 3rd- now it is set for July 17th. The Venue is booked, rings purchased - and I’m going to make my veil and jeweled bouquet. I’m also going to make a final dress decision this week! My best friends are making travel plans... it’s going to be small and intimate. My anxiety is slowly giving way to excitement!

Got my first RSVP cards today! Excitement is starting to build but still focused on making sure everything will be in place. I haven't had time to examine how I am feeling about that big day getting closer and closer! July 24th...THE DAY!!

Thankfully our "package" at the Hilton Clearwater Beach included a LOT of things. I however did some DYI & have leis coming from Hawaii (Hawaiian themed wedding cause I am not yet comfortable trying to plan a big trip like that at the moment) as well as some locally sourced items. We are either doing heavy appetizer's or a real dinner depending on the RSVP count (we currently have 26 confirmed but need almost 35 to justify the cost of doing a full dinner) ~ our invites stated "Champaign reception" which doesn't (IMO) imply dinner especially since our "time is 7:30 pm" (about an hour before sunset so pictures should be stunning). IF I was in your position I would try contacting either a major hotel near where you plan to wed OR maybe there is a "wedding planner" here on Weddingwire that works in the area & try to source some of your challenges that way. I am not sure how Puerto Rico is doing with the hurricane's a couple years ago & then Covid on top of that! If you are local &/or have family there use those as potential sources of information & checking things out for you.

My dress, flower girls dress & FH wedding "shirt" all came from Hawaii & match... it's 100% cotton, washable, has a slight train (but won't drag in the sand) with a high low hem... very Hawaiian/tropical & beachy & extremely affordable.
