We’re getting married on 4/3/21 but it’s close to your July ‘21. We’ve booked our venue, photographer, caterer (& picked food), DJ & officiant. For flowers & cake- they know our date & we have appointments in January to decide on that. We’re going to order invitations in November so we can mail them out in January. I found my perfect dress & am waiting for January for alterations. We have our honeymoon with flight booked. And I’m putting the finishing touches on my bridesmaids bags. He has to decide on who & what his tribe will be wearing. Next biggest decision is where to have the rehearsal dinner. His parents will take that from there. I’m having a blast with planning our wedding!

I’m getting married July 17, 2021. We got engaged in October 2019 and decided not to get married in 2020 since my fiancé is still in the military and his brother was supposed to deploy this summer. (Which saves us the headache of having to reschedule). So we’ve been planning this wedding for a while!! We have our big vendors booked. But still haven’t planned everything out yet. I’m worried about committing to something now and then a few months find something better.

No. We’re going through a hotel which includes a lot of things even a day of coordinator. And my sister is helping me a lot so I don’t see the need right now to have one.

I wish I would’ve taken the advice and waited to start planning because I’ve definitely gone through a roller coaster of emotions with the planning process. I would playing hard-core for weeks then get tired of it and then take weeks off from planning then get excited about it again.

No- I didn’t want to pay anyone for something I could do myself. My fiancé is a firefighter & is part of the Honor Guard in the town we live in. We were at a function, when another couple said they were going to Jamaica, to a Sandal’s resort. Sandal’s is all inclusive (even alcohol). I thought “that sounds so relaxing!” After all the craziness of planning our wedding, what better way to celebrate our wedding! I kept an eye on the price & I got us a 7 day, 1 bedroom villa honeymoon suite with a butler for $3949 (originally it was $5107). We get 10% off since he’s a 1st responder. We bought our airfare & my dress in June- our credit card was offering triple points for anything purchased in June. I’m still making payments for the resort but my final payment isn’t due until February.
