    1) Venue booked (Saturday 8/14/21) All inclusive (Goal is to show up and not have to worry much)

    2) Food tasting done, We get two plate choices (Have one plate picked out so need one more)

    3) Family shoot booked (November 20th 2020) Will use to send out Saves the dates in December

    4) April quick trip to Hawaii booked for 4/12/21 (We want to do an engagement shoot in Hawaii)

    5) Bridal proposal intimate backyard dinner set (Friday, 11/27/20)

    6) Proposal boxes completed

    7) 1st dress shopping date with the Matron and Maid of Honor set (Saturday, 11/28/20)

    8) Photographer/Videographer appointments set up (Hope to book by end of November)

    9) Spoke to Limo Driver and have checked out a 22-24 seater Hummer limo

    10) Picked out the colors which are SILVER AND WHITE (Bridesmaids and groomsman in Silver)

There has been a lot of planning and researching and time spent for this beautiful day to come and I am super excited. I know there is much more to get done but I am happy with how the process is going.

Argyles is making my cake. Very pleased with my experience with them. I was in town for a weekend unannounced and she met with me.

Hey! Sounds like you’ve got a lot done. I’m doing a trial run of a makeup artist for my engagement pics and hopefully I like her so I can book her lol also haven’t found a hair stylist yet

Hey ladies!! July 10, 2021 Bride here! Any date twins out there? We’ve been engaged since Jan 2019 and took things very slow to enjoy our engagement. Wedding planning didn’t start till this past June! So far we’ve booked the venue, photographer, DJ and planner (awesome husband and wife duo), bought my dress, taken our engagement pics and currently in the works of designing our Save the Dates. I’m super nervous about Covid guys 🙈 like others have said I CANNOT see everyone wearing masks in my pictures and not being able to dance and hug everyone. I’m planning as normal for roughly 130 people. How does everyone feel about Covid still going on around your wedding date?

July 17th here! We have Venue, DJ, Photographer, Rentals for centerpieces/linens/table wear/some decor, dress (we were supposed to elope for a small ceremony in March that ended up being cancelled), rings, bridal accessories, and have a caterer tasting lined up. Also started reaching out to officiants and the hotel for a block. Took engagement photos, had engagement party, ordered save the dates, and started searching for a baker. Seems like we’ve done a lot!

Hey everyone! July 2021 bride. We've booked venue, photographer, DJ, florist, hair and makeup, hotel blocks, and bought the dress. We are in the process of selecting bridesmaids dresses and groomsmen tuxedos. Still need to organize rehearsal dinner/welcome party, wedding bands. Tasking event is organized for March. Waiting a little longer to send invitations... I am so cautious of what next year will look like regarding Covid; it is a British-American wedding, so I am hoping the whole English half of the wedding will be allowed/safely able to fly to the US. Smiley sad

I’m nervous as well but we’ve been planning as if things were “normal”. Our guest list is also around 130. And while we won’t be postponing we’ve decided that we would be ok with cutting the guest list if we need to

July 17, 2021 and SO EXCITED!

We just booked our DJ and all other vendors are booked. We sent out save the dates about a month ago. Doing some research on a honeymoon and whether or not we want to use a travel agent. I'm keeping an eye out for Black Friday deals for bridal party gifts and then taking a planning break through the holidays. My girls will do a dress try on in January. I can't wait! I just hope we can go through with everything as planned. We are in Central Coast California and currently our venue is not allowed to host receptions. Our guest list is about 100 people.

Date Twins!! Have you guys looked into honeymoon travel yet? I am so eager, but not sure what will be open and safe to travel to. We aren't too worried about traveling, but want to know we will still have the experience we are paying for.

I'm a date twin! We got engaged this past February and I started planning that night 😂 All of our friends and family knew his proposal plans and had been waiting anxiously for about a month so right after the announcement they were already sending me venue ideas and I couldn't resist.
Covid has definitely made things hard, a lot of the planning has been done over the phone or virtual so I feel like I'm missing out on some of the fun/exciting parts you normally get to do with your parties. The only bright side is I've had so much extra time on my hands to plan so all I really have left to do is finalizations. It definitely sucks not knowing what changes you might have to make down the line.
